Schmaltz Aspect: eight. “What Christmas Usually means to Me” moves briskly adequate not to get bogged down in sentimentality, but lots of emotional modern-day holiday songs have descended from its listing of mistletoe, choirs and snow, as Ponder’s romantic depiction from the season is sufficient to sweep up any relaxed listener. — J.
